IHPVA Membership, WHPSC Waiver, and Insurance

Anyone who is on the racing surface during event road closures must be an IHPVA member to comply with insurance requirements. This includes but is not limited to riders, builders/owners, team advisors/managers, team members, officials, and volunteers at the WHPSC. These persons are considered WHPSC Participants. As noted on the membership form, IHPVA Membership fee is $35 (USD) per person: IHPVA-Membership-Form-V1.0-2025.pdf

All WHPSC Participants must sign the waiver for the event: IHPVA-ABR-Waiver-WHPSC-V1.1-2025.pdf

To facilitate, please bring hardcopy of completed membership forms and signed waivers to the WHPSC. Blank membership and waiver forms will also be available at the event.

The club (IHPVA) is a member of American Bicycle Racing (ABR). The event (WHPSC) is registered with ABR. The club and event are covered by the insurance carried by ABR. All IHPVA members participating at the WHPSC are covered by the insurance policies. Liability insurance protects the event, the IHPVA, and ABR against claims by outside entities, including but not limited to spectators, ranchers, motorists at roadblocks.
