Yesterday saw a lot of teams arriving in Civic Center and we ended the days proceedings with the initial meeting. All teams, volunteers and other visitors introduced themselves and we introduced all visitors to the do’s and do not’s whilst in Battle Mountain.
This morning we are getting ready for our first sessions from the 2.5 mile start. The teams can get a feel for the condition of their vehicles and we get a feel for the speed that they may achieve during the week. First session starts at 7:15.
Also we are discovering how much work Al and Alice put into the event, so again thank you both for your many years of dedication!
One notable thing is that we are quite low on volunteers for critical functions like chase official, so if you were considering coming out… please do!
