The World Human Powered Speed Challenge (WHPSC) s organized by the International Human Powered Vehicle Association (IHPVA) and as such all rules set by the IHPVA apply to WHPSC.

In addition the WHPSC has several additions focussed around the specific nature of the event.
The vehicle you bring to the event must comply with the IHPVA and WHPSC rules for it to be allowed to race. Pre-race a technical inspection is required. The inspectors are available for inspection on September 6th 2025 in the Civic Center.
The inspectors will use the following checklist to ensure compliance. In case of doubt feel free to contact us before the event to discuss any questions or doubts that you may have with regards to rules or inspection.
When a vehicle fails inspection you are not allowed to race. Additional when your vehicle crashes during the week, basically when any other bit than the wheels touch the ground, you need to contact the inspectors for a re-inspection before you are allowed to race again.
